Suggestions for things that you can be doing over the summer

Jostein Gaarder – Sophie’s World
This is written as a story, but one of the characters receives a lot of good philosophy teaching! It’s written really well and makes tricky A Level topics easier to understand. You can get it on Amazon used and new for £2, or sign up for Audible and use your free book token to listen to it as an audiobook.

A History of Ideas (Podcast)
The Panpsycast Philosophy Podcast (Podcast) – This site also has a good section for audiobook chapters too!

There are also lots of other links and suggestions in the resource below…

Continuing to study over the summer will help you to build on all of the study habits that you have developed over the past couple of years. It’s going to help you with things like being organised, time management and being self-disciplined, which are all essential study habits – no matter what subjects you choose to study next year.
