2023/24 Assessment Weeks
Support and information for pupils, students, and families during examination and assessment periods.
2023
09 October – 10 November: Year 13 assessments take place (in classrooms; teachers will advise the specific lessons these assessment will take place).
16 October – 17 November: Year 11 assessments take place (in classrooms; teachers will advise the specific lessons these assessment will take place).
Reports for Year 11 and 13 will be issued in late November 2023.
04 December – 19 December: Year 10 assessments take place (in classrooms; teachers will advise the specific lessons these assessment will take place).
11 December – 22 December: Year 12 assessments take place (in classrooms; teachers will advise the specific lessons these assessment will take place).
Reports for Year 10 and 12 will be issued in January 2024.
2024
09 January – 02 February: pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 will sit in-class assessments across their subjects. Teachers will advise when these will take place. Reports will be issued in early March.
15 January – 31 January: Year 11 and 13 will sit assessments in the main hall, as a practise for their final GCSEs and A levels. Reports will be issued in late February.
29 June – 10 May: Year 12 will sit assessments in the main hall, as a practise for their A levels. Reports will be issued in early June.
13 May: GCSE and A level exams begin for Year 11 and 13.
03 June – 14 June: pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 will sit their end of year assessments across their subjects. Teachers will advise when these will take place. Reports will be issued in early July.
17 June – 27 June: Year 10 will sit their end of year assessments (some of which will take place in the hall). Reports will be issued in late July.
