Admissions Waiting List
In Year Admissions
We hold a waiting list of pupils who would like to be considered if a place becomes available in their year group. You can apply to join our waiting list below if your child is currently in Years 7 to 11.

For children with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please contact SENAR for details. You do not need to fill in the form below.
Joining the Waiting List
If your child is currently in Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 or Year 11 at another secondary school, you can make an application for our waiting list. For Sixth Form admissions we do not operate a waiting list.
If you have applied for a place for your child for Year 7 at the University of Birmingham School for September 2025 entry, you will have been automatically placed on the waiting list if your application was unsuccessful. You do not need to fill in the form below. Please note, you will need to fill in this form for each new school year (if you wish to stay on our waiting lists after Year 7), as your child’s information will not automatically carry over to the next school year.
Applying for the Year 7-11 Waiting List
Fill in the form below to apply for our waiting list for in-year admissions for Year 7-11. Please note, you will only be contacted if a school place becomes available.
You will need to fill in this form again for each new school year (if you wish to stay on our waiting lists), as your child’s information will not automatically carry over to the next school year.
