Foodbank Donations

University of Birmingham School is collecting items for the B30 Foodbank.

About the B30 Foodbank:

The B30 Foodbank was set up by the B30 Churches Together network in September 2013 and operates from the Cotteridge Church.

They are open two afternoons a week with a fantastic group of over 100 volunteers, who help at the warehouse, supermarket collections, weekly sessions and at various local events.

They also have links with over 250 organisations who distribute vouchers to those who need 3-days’ worth of crisis food.

During 2018, the Foodbank gave out 9,443 emergency three day food parcels including those to 3,796 children a total of over 50,000 kg of food.
