Undergraduate Subject Mentoring

UoBS Sixth Form are recruiting a team of current undergraduates to provide in-school subject specific mentoring for our Year 13 students.

As mentors will be delivering one-to-one weekly support, we are looking for applicants who are consistently able to commit to Friday afternoon sessions, starting in March through to early May 2024. Mentoring will involve:

  • One-to-one meetings with an individual Year 13 student for 1 hour (2 students per week).
  • Working together with them on anything in their subject that they are struggling with.
  • Working through questions together either from textbooks or past papers.

To register your interest please complete the following by midday on Thursday 08 February 2024:

Sessions will be paid at a rate of £25 per hour and will take place in-person in School. Full training will be provided and mentors will be subject to an enhanced DBS check (conducted by the School).

Mandatory Mentor Training will take place on Wednesday 21 February, 15.00 – 16.00.
