The Year 12 and 13 UoB School Touch Rugby Union Squad progressed through to the National Finals at Worcester Warriors after winning the regional tournament in Hereford in April.
Up against 12 teams from across the country, our Sixth Form students stormed through the pool stages after a couple of close fought games to begin with. As soon as their tournament in the amazing Sixways Stadium began in the afternoon, they just kept winning!
3 games on the bounce resulted in the squad reaching the pool finals, against Scarisbrick Independent School of Liverpool. A sterling performance from every player resulted in a comprehensive and convincing victory when it counted most! Big congrats to Abi, Tom, and Hannah who sign off Year 13 as National Champions for Touch Union Rugby!
