University of Birmingham School was delighted to welcome over 600 people, including pupils, students, staff, family members, and the wider School community to its first Celebration of Character & Excellence Evening. An evening to acknowledge and celebrate those individuals who have excelled in academic achievement, scholarliness, civic life, and character development.
“Now a fully formed School, and for many individuals their successful completion of a seven-year all-through journey at the University School, it has been both opportune and joyful to celebrate a broad range of accomplishments. Our School’s Celebration Event provided a splendid opportunity on the University campus, to recognise exemplary character, academic excellence, and other areas of School life where our pupils and students have shone. I encourage each recipient of an award to cherish their success on this occasion, whilst striving wholeheartedly for their next.” Colin Townsend, Principal.
Thank you to everyone who made the evening a success and joined us – it was a pleasure to celebrate with you all.
