A level Results 2025: Students celebrate success at UoBS Sixth Form

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 at University of Birmingham School Sixth Form for your achievements on A level results day. Your dedication, perseverance, and hard work are truly commendable, and today’s results are a testament to your efforts. As you embark on your next steps, whether in higher education or other pathways, know that your accomplishments have laid a foundation for future success. We wish you all the very best as you continue to strive for excellence and a life of good character and purpose beyond our Sixth Form.

As students, families, and educators come together to celebrate these achievements, it’s important to recognise that success comes in many forms. Whether the results are as expected or not, every student has grown and developed across their studies. The skills and knowledge gained, the lessons learned, the friendships made, and the personal growth experienced are invaluable. So, on A level results day, let’s celebrate not just the grades, but the hard work, and the potential of each and every student.

Mr. Colin Townsend, Principal of University of Birmingham School, expressed his admiration for our own students and those celebrating elsewhere. “I commend our students for their personal growth and character development, and for their academic awards today. We aim always to encourage and support each young person to achieve individual excellence, and a purposeful and aspirational onward plan. Where that means gaining top grades we look to that – with 26 of our 194 graduates attaining no lower than the equivalent of three grade ‘A’ outcomes, and 52% of all entries awarded at grades A*-B. I also thank our parents, carers, and families for their crucial partnership with the School and the School’s staff for their boundless care for our learners, alongside their subject expertise. Optimism, self-belief, determination, and a balanced work ethic are a powerful mix towards success – now and moving forward.”

Vice Principal for Sixth Form and Aspiration, Mr. Liam Dwyer, also expressed his pride in the Year 13 students. “I am exceptionally proud off all of our Year 13 students. They have been rewarded for their hard work and effort over the last two years with some outstanding results. They can now look forward to their next steps, which for most of our students is continuing their studies at some of the most prestigious Universities in the country – including 36 students who will be enrolling at the University of Birmingham.”

Your success is a shared celebration, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you.
