Remote Enrolment

We understand that there may be some situations where students are unable to visit us in school for Sixth Form Enrolment on Thursday 12 August (i.e. due to family holidays, illness or self-isolation). In this situation, students should submit a Request for Remote Enrolment.

Upon submission of this request, applicants will be emailed further instructions detailing how to complete the enrolment process online and what to expect.

Requests should be submitted as early as possible, but no later than 14.00 on Thursday 12 August (to allow time for completion of the Pre-enrolment form before our 15.00 deadline)

What you will need…

In order to make sure that your enrolment runs as smoothly as possible, it would be useful to make sure that on Thursday 12 August you have access to the following;

An electronic copy of your official GCSE results
Prior to Results Day, you must make sure that you have made appropriate arrangements with your school for collection of your GCSE results, as you will need to provide evidence of your grades as part of the Sixth Form Enrolment process. This evidence can be in the form of a PDF, clear photograph or scanned copy of your official results slip as issued by your school.

Internal UoBS students should contact our Exams Officer, Mrs Mason-Burns ( to request an electronic copy of their results.

Access to the internet
At some point between 08.30 – 15.00 on Results Day, you will need to log in to our Application Portal to complete our online Pre-Enrolment form, where you will enter your GCSE results, upload your evidence and tell us your preferred A-Level courses. For this, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer if possible (rather than mobile) as the form will be easier to complete.

Able to be contacted by phone
Once submitted, your Pre-Enrolment form will be checked and if staff have any queries or need to clarify any information, we may be in touch by phone on the number you have provided, so please do make sure that you are available to speak to us if necessary.

Enrolment Deadline 15.00

To be considered for a sixth form place, we must have received both a Request for Remote Enrolment AND a completed Pre-Enrolment Form by no later than 15.00 on Thursday 12 August.

If you are having any issues completing either of these steps on the day, you must contact before the 3pm deadline to inform us. Failure to do so may mean that we are unable to consider your application, as our sixth form spaces may have already been allocated.
